A New Beginning!!

Soooooo!!! I know it has been forever since I have posted anything so here is what we have been up too. The holidays were awesome of course and spent a lot of time with family. January came and I started back into school last of my pre-requisites until I apply for the LPN program in March. January was a fast month and now into February.

I have been married to my best friend and eternal companion for 10 years!! Where has the time gone. I fall more in love with him everyday and I don't know what I would do without his love and support everyday. Love ya Justin!! Hopefully for an anniversary we can get away to Vegas in a couple of months. I want a get away for our 10 years but we will see. :)

For Valentines day we had a murder mystery party we attended and for those who don't know me I hate costume parties. But after all the stress about costumes it was so much fun. We had fabulous food and awesome company. (I'll post professional pictures later when we get a copy of them.)

Now the end of February has been crazy!! I found a job!!! I am going to be a CNA a a new rehabilitation place in Idaho Falls called Promontory Point. I haven't started but am really excited and nervous at the same time. It is a night shift. I have never worked a night shift so a lot of Mountain Dew this weekend will probably be my best friend to keep me awake. That is the only part I am worried about. I love working with the elderly people.

Well I hope everyone is doing well and my goal is to be better a blogging. Sorry Whitney and Lindsey!! :) I promise I'm going to work on it so you can be more informed.

It's Great to be 8!!!

Bradley turned 8 on the 3rd of November. Since I had school that night we had a little party with his friends on the 4th at Leo's. It was so fun and he had a blast with his friend and grandparents.

Then on Saturday the 6th he got baptized. He was so cute and excited to get baptized and to be able to "wash his sins away". He kept saying that he was excited to do that. It was such a special day and were grateful for the family and friends that were here and all the others who couldn't thought of him on this very special day. We love you Bradley and are glad you made this decision in your life. When you look back in life you will be so grateful for the Atonement of Christ and what it means to have baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. Justin gave such an awesome blessing and the spirit was so strong there. Of course I cried. I'm glad I have a worthy husband who holds the priesthood worthily. I love you Justin too. Ya I was pretty sad last night. I called home on my break at school and Justin told me Bradley had something to tell me. Bradley said mom, "I've got a surprise for you." What's that Bradley? "I pulled put my tooth." I was so excited. He did it all by himself to0. Bradley is going to be 8 in less then a month and I was wondering when he was going to be losing teeth. I was so happy but sad at the same time cause I wasn't home to celebrate with him. Oh-well. I'm over it now, but its about time he lost a tooth. Good job Bradley!! Excuse the picture. I woke him up when I got home to take a picture. The tooth fairy gave him a dollar!! :)

Sickness

Okay,can I just say I'm sick of Doctors offices, and everyone in our house hold being sick. This last month we have all got the flu except Bradley and Justin. We have all gotten colds. Justin got the friendly kidney stones. Poor thing. He couldn't go to work for almost a week cause he was so drugged up with pain medication. I hope I never have these things. The Dr. called him a true man cause he passed 2. He delivered twins. :) That is our joke in our family. Here is a picture of the 2 he passed but if you could imagine that coming out it makes you hurt even though they look so little. They aren't smooth at all they are jagged all the way around them. I'm just glad Justin is feeling so much better.

Mya just had a reaction to the MMR shot.She broke out in a huge rash and when I took her in they thought it was chicken pox until I told them she got shots awhile ago and the reaction after this shots happens with 12-13 days after the shot. Poor little thing she has been a crab lately and that is why cause of this.

Please let us be with good health until next year. Please!!! :)

Mya Surgery

Mya had surgery this morning to get tubes put in her ears. She has had 4 ear infections in like 4 months so it was time to do something cause I was getting sick of it. We were there at 5:40 and we left at 8. It was the fastest surgery and recovery ever. She was such a trooper. This was the only picture we got of Mya in her 4 times to big gown and her teddy bear they gave her. (Don't mind me in the picture) You wouldn't have even guessed she had it done cause she is acting so normal. I wish all surgeries were like this. Oh and also don't forget I had to take her earrings out and of course someone had to call my bald headed, pink blanket baby a BOY!!!! I was so irritated. I can't wait until she gets hair but if she follows after her mom it will be awhile. Sorry Mya!! :)

Mya's Birthday was so fun!! I can't believe she is 1 already. This year has gone so fast. We love this little girl. She is going to be busy like her older brother Bradley. She looks a lot like Mason but she has the girl look. I must say I'm pretty jealous cause she has longer eyelashes then me. We are so glad she is part of our family. It is so nice to have pink in the house besides all blue. Blue was my favorite color but now pink is. :) She got lots of clothes and some doll toys. We love you little Mya!!

Back to School!!

Well the boys were so excited to go back to school this morning they thought they needed to be up by 6:45. They were so cute. They kept talking about lunch and how Mason gets to stay all day at school and Bradley was telling Mason all the stuff about his teacher he needed to know and how much homework he is going to have. I remember when I was little and how excited I was to go to school the first day in my new cute school clothes. They had there clothes picked out last night all set and ready to go this morning. I pray everyday that these boys will have respect for the kids and especially there teachers. Hope they have a good day and a good school year. I love you boys. Gotta love Idaho weather. It was 48 degrees this morning and raining. Here are a few pictures of them. :)

Well today is a Happy day the kids go back to school and also a sad day. Today is Brad's Birthday (Justin's Dad). Some days I wish we could go back in time and I could have met this man. Justin and I met after Brad past away. Each one of the boys (Justin and his brothers) resemble him in one way or another. I love just getting around the boys and listening to them all reminisce about there Dad. They all sit and laugh and tell stories about him and how he was and how he would be if he were here. We can't take it back cause it was Gods plan unfortunately to take him early but we miss him. I wish he were here to see his boys and how they are to there kids and there wife's. He would be so proud of them in all they do and there accomplishments. I know he is close though and watches over us everyday. We love and miss you Brad!!

CNA course here I come!!

So I started on Monday my CNA course in Idaho Falls at EITC. I'm pretty nervous about it but it should be pretty easy. Well let me take that back. So tonight we had class and were trying to learn the blood pressure stethoscope thing and lets just say I ended up showing everyone in my class what a boob I was due to the fact I got so frustrated cause I couldn't hear a thing. So I was pretty upset and came home bawling to Justin and the sweet husband I have helped me until I figured it out I had the ear pieces in my ears wrong the whole time and I thought I just couldn't hear. Also I figured out even though I'm not at a church school there are a lot of people out there who are willing to help and help you succeed with them. I had so many people in class trying to help me tonight just so I could understand how to do it. Thanks friends in my class. :) Also I have such a sweet lady in my class whom is in my sisters ward in Rigby and I just love her already. Cindy Schaat you are such an awesome woman and I can't wait to get to know you more and love you just like as if you were my mom. :) Well here is one of the uniforms I had to get for class. Yes it is big cause I wanted something comfy for my rotations I have to do (no I may look prego but I'm not). Here you have it me going into the CNA course. (More events coming in the next couple of weeks so I can update more. Stay Tuned.)

No more excuses!! I'll strive to do better!! :)

Okay! I know it has been forever since I have posted anything. Okay I have now finished 2 semester since the last post and put kids in swim lessons and now I'm back in school again in a CNA course in Idaho Falls and will be taking 9 credits up to BYUI too. My kids start school on Monday and I can't wait and either can they. That will change when they get older. :) Also my baby is going to be 1 in a week. Wow time has gone by to quickly. I can't believe it. I'm so grateful for and awesome husband who supports me in everything and helps me out 100%. Thanks Justin I will owe you big when school is done. Also this post is for Family in Denver so they know I will STRIVE to do better at posting since that is the only way we can see each other and see the kids. :) It is not a promise but I will try to be better at it.

Hello everyone. I know it has been forever since the last post. A lot of things have changed. Wow!! We had Christmas, New Years, I went back to school, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day and now!! So considering I have forgot all those I would start now.
I returned back to school and put my application in for the Fall Nursing Program at BYUI. (Wish me luck) Because of school, being a mom and wife and trying to do homework it has been a lot for me so this has been put on the back burner. I know enough excuses.
Well the boys are growing like crazy and as for MYA she is a chunk and I'm afraid is going to be as busy as Bradley. She is so much fun and is almost 7 months old. That has went to fast. She is such a good baby and loves her daddy. Well I also need to give my Husband a lot of credit too. He is supporting me 100% for me to be in school and if it wasn't for all his help it would not be possible. Everyone at school asks me how I do it with 4 kids and under the age of 7 and it is because of him that I'm able too. Needless to say he did get a vacation with his friends to go to Mesquite and Vegas without me. I was jealous but I'm glad he went and had fun. I love you Justin!!
Anyways I hope I can be better at updating but not making any promises. Sorry,have to focus on getting good grades. So until next time.....

Bradley's 7th Birthday!! I can't believe he will be getting baptized next year. That is crazy. He has his days when he is very good and then other days when he is a little stinker. But we still love him. He is so smart and sometimes for his own good. We love you Bradley!!

Halloween was a great one this year of course. The boys were so cute and so was Mya. Justin had to much fun painting there faces so if you can't tell what they are sorry either could I.:)

Little Peyton Lindsey Briggs was born tonight at 6:35 and she weighed in @ 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 in. long. She has blonde hair so it looks like she has none. She is so cute and glad to have her as part of our family. Lindsey did great with this one. Labor went well and same with delivery. Brionni was so cute with her too. I'm glad cause she can say she has 2 under the age of one. Really she does. They are such proud parents. She is a cutie and I'm glad Mya will have a close cousin to her age. The thing that is even more funny is that they weighed the same and the same height. Good job you two she is a keeper and so cute.:)

Mya Jo Briggs

Mya Jo Briggs was born on Sept. 1st @ 11:18 in the morning. She weighed in at 6lb. 13 oz. and 20 in. long. It all started the night before with contractions starting at about 11:00. So we decided to go in. They checked me and I was only a 3 and 50% effaced. So Justin and I walked the hospital for about an hour and no change. So we decided to wait it out for another 2 hours and see if anything changed. My contrations were right on top of each other and going strong so after the 2 hours of waiting they decided to keep me. I got an epidural at about 5:00 and it really wasn't working to well. My left leg was really numb bur I could still feel my contractions and my right leg. Well a few hours later we found out the anthesiologist hit a vein in my back so everytime I pushed the button for more medicine it would make me really loopy and light headed with ringing in my ears. After the 3rd push of the button I passed out and had a seizure. i don't remeber but I know I scared Justin really bad. The Dr. came in and broke my water @ 8:00 and I got a new eidural and everything went smoothly after that. Then our bundle of joy was here. Wow can I say I love Pink!! I do know that are family feels complete now that she is here. (It better be now that I'm fixed LOL!!) She is wrapped around her Daddys finger that is for sure. They will have a special bond but we love all our kids the same. The boys are so excited she is here and mug on her constantly and want to hold her all the time. We are glad Mya made it here and glad its all over with a special person in our home.:) (Pictures coming soon:)

Baby Update!!

Went to the Doctor today and found out that I'm dilated to a 2 and effaced 50%. Really you could be like this for a long time to but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I'm way excited but need to hold out for 2 more weeks at least. I've been having really bad contractions starting at about 6:00 at night and they come and go until about 8:00. So I'm on my weekly visits so I'll keep you updated. So until next Tuesday this is the results so far. Walking here I come!!:)

Time has gone by fast this summer. But I'm not complaining cause I want this little girl here. Marc came home, Killian family reunion, 4th of July, and a baby shower thrown by Cassie (didn't take my camera so Lindsey or Cassie send some over). I only have a couple of more weeks to go we hope. I hope I go the first of September but not clear up to my due date.

Wow!! My brother-in-law Marc comes home on next Thursday the 11th. I'm so excited to see him again. It will be so fun to have all the brothers back together again. I've seen all Justin's brothers leave and come home from missions and glad to say that I'm glad this is the last one to come home. What an honor to say that all my brother-in law's have served missions and a husband who has too. It's not very often that you see a family of 5 boys see all of them go and and come home from serving honorable missions. I'm one proud Sister-in-law. More pictures will come when he gets home just super excited to see him.:)

Memorial Day

Wow it has been awhile since I've posted anything. Mason's birthday was on the 25th of April and of course our camera was broke so no pictures until Deanne gives us some.:) We of course went camping for Memorial Day and it was beautiful except Sunday and I was then ready to come home but we had lots of fun and loaded up early Monday morning and came home so that we could visit Brad's Grave. The boys road there dirt bike and dad gave Brendan plenty of rides on his so that he wouldn't cry. He loves being a copy cat of his dad.

Yipee!! We are having a girl. We are so excited. I think I'm still in shock though. I don't know how to do a girl but I guess will so find out. I'm excited to go shop though for pink. PARK CITY here I come!!! We feel so blessed to have a cute little girl join our family and can't wait. Still measuring at 18 weeks. Please come early.:) We are so excited if you can't tell!!:) (I would show the ultrasounds but they have to be explained to, to realize what it is.)

April 20th!!

Well I went to the Dr. yesterday and I scheduled for my ultrasound on April 20th. We are way excited. The Dr. was delivering a baby and so I just seen the nurse. She was looking for the heart beat and she couldn't find it. Last time it was really low and I said I've gotten really big up higher are you sure its not up higher. So she said well lets just check. So come to find out there it was. She told me that I was not measuring at 16 weeks. If the baby was that high I've got to be at least 18 weeks. That was good news. I always go early so maybe they will actually change the due date. We will see on April 20th. That will be the exciting results. Boy or Girl? Come back and see later!!:)

What #4?

So Okay I'll finally break the news why I haven't been blogging. Since my head has been in the toilet or just laying on the couch we are glad to tell all we are expecting #4 on September 22. Well, I say sooner since I never go to my due date. We are hoping or should I say Praying for PINK!! Because I'm done after this. We will find out the end of April of first part of May. I'm only 12 weeks but man I feel and look like I'm 5 months along. Wow what 4 babies can do to your stomach so fast.:) I'll try to keep you more updated of the months ahead but don't plan on any pictures cause I retain water so bad as it is so this summer is going to suck. We are excited and really hope for a healthy baby whether it is a boy or girl. But PLEASE be PINK!!:)

Today I Married My Best Friend!!

Wow! Where has time gone. Today Justin & I celebrate our 8 year Anniversary. I can't believe where we are in our lives. We have 3 wonderful kids (sometimes), house, and of course each other. I'm glad Justin is my eternal companion and I get to spend Eternity with him. I love him so much and appreciate all the help and support he gives me. Justin you are the best. Sorry to be so mooshy but I've got the best husband in the WORLD. I love you Justin!

It's been forever!!

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted anything. We had a wonderful Holiday Season with our Families. Very busy of course when both families are in the same area. Well it is now February and we have had a lot going on all ready this year. Bradley & Mason started Basketball at the YMCA and we got them signed up for Soccer. They are so excited to be in sports now. I just wish Brendan was old enough too. I hope to keep up on my posts. With kids involved with things its hard to get on the computer and post anything. Today I heard one of the kids shut there door at 4:00 this morning and I got up to see who it was. Mason wasn't in his bed and I could hear something in Brendan's room so I looked in there and you wouldn't believe that Mason had turned on Kung Fu Panda and Brendan and Mason were both up watching it at 4:00 in the morning. What the H is all I could say and laughed at the same time. What surprises you can get everyday with BOYS!! But I sure love them!!

Trip To Utah!

We made a quick trip to Utah to see the lights & shop!! We seen the lights for about 30 minutes and that was long enough. It was so cold outside and the kids wanted to go swimming to bad to even enjoy the lights. The next day we went shopping to Park City. That was not fun at all but got a lot done. The kids were naughty. So much for the threat that Santa is not coming otherwise they would all be getting a lump of coal. But we were close to leaving them in Park City. Next time MOM will go without the kids!!

Another Boy!! Jaxton Jace Briggs!

Jaxton Jace Briggs was born at 5:45 pm weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. and I think 20.5 in. long. He is so cute and I think he has his mommy's face. Whitney did such a good job and survived her first delivery. Even though she was 10 days over due. He just didn't want to come. He was getting lots of instructions from Grandpa on the other side.:) It is so cute to see them as parents now. There life is just beginning. They will be great parents. Sorry no pictures of Whit just for her privacy cause you know how hot you feel after you just had a baby. She looked great even though her & Jace were super tired. Congrats Jace & Whitney!! He is definitely a keeper!! This adds 9 grandkid's to the Dial/Briggs Klan. Congrats to the Decker's for there first Grandson. He will definitely be getting plenty attention!!

Our Vacation

Wow!! it went by way to fast but we had a blast. First we left late cause we had about 100 passengers missing due to the fires so we waited until they got there so we didn't leave until 8:00 that night instead of 4:00. The first 2 days were on the sea. We just laid out and enjoyed the sun, food, & entertainment. It was so fun to just spend time with Justin alone with no kids but I was ready to see them when I got home. The entertainment was fun. Diana (my sister) won a ton of money at the casino. Lucky girl. She was famous on the boat. She won some money for us. But the saying is what happens on the boat stays on the boat. :) We went to Puerto Vallerta and did the zip line. That was so fun besides the spiders in the trees. Then off to Mazatlan where we just enjoyed the beach and played in the water there with my parents. When you visit these places you are sure grateful for what you have. It is really sad. Then off to Cabo. I could spend a lot of time there it was beautiful. We went to a little island/beach and went snorkeling. On the way there we seen dolphins. It was fun to snorkel and see all the different fish in the ocean. Of course that place was our shortest stop but we ended up in the sea for another 5 hours due to one of the boats that transferred us there couldn't get back on the ship because of a pulley broke to get it back on. So instead of getting there in LA at 7:00 we got there at 10:15. Enough time to get off the boat grab a van and run in the airport so we didn't miss our flight. It was close though. Thanks to everyone who helped with our kids while we were gone. It was an awesome trip to spend with Justin, my family, and other Rigby people. Now back to life & reality.

I can't believe Bradley is already 6 years old. Where did time go? So many words can describe this kid. He is very athletic and loves to be busy. Bradley when he was a baby he would fight to go to sleep and guess what he still does. He is very smart and knows how to work with Justin & I's minds. We had a party yesterday and then we went to dinner tonight for his birthday. Bradley I hope you had a good Birthday and we sure do love you (even though you can be a little stinker at times).

So the boys ended up breaking the front of the crib so are only other option was to order new parts or get Brendan a Toddler bed. So the Toddler bed won since we won't need the crib for awhile. Brendan looks so big in this bed and he thinks he is a big boy too. He will hold your hand and take you into his room and say bed. He is so proud of his big kid bed. I'm not to proud because that means he is not my baby anymore and is growing up way to fast. He sleeps all through the night in it with out waking up and going to the door(Sorry Dora). Better not talk to soon though. He is such a good boy.

The Three Bike Riders

Here is the picture of our Bike Riders. They are growing up way fast and want to be just like there Dad. I guess that is a good thing. We had a good day going to Trick or Treat Street in Idaho Falls and then to Grandma's house. The little pumpkin is Baby Bri. She looked so cute. (Thanks Tory & Lindsey for letting me steal the pictures off your blog) We didn't visit many places but enough to get a lot of candy(Which they haven't stopped eating). I hate this time of year when Justin goes hunting. But he got a buck on the first weekend he went. Now I'm glad cause now he doesn't have an excuse to go every weekend. Ya Right!! I'll still let him go since he likes to go and be with his bro's & Jordan. The funny story about this buck is he got it first thing in the morning and I was hoping he was on his way home afterwards. NOT!! They went spotting for more and then I got a call about 7:30 saying that they were on there way home and he would be home in a hour. Then around 8:30 I get another phone call from Graig's phone & it was Justin. "Hon someone got out of the truck and locked it & my keys are in it. Can you come out here and open it." Let me remind you they were still clear out in Mud Lake. "Your not mad are you." I wasn't mad just thought it was actually funny that it happened. I think they were more nervous about me being mad then about the keys. Good one DORKS!! I went to Cal Ranch earlier to get a screw to put in the truss & a pulley to hang the deer so all Justin had to do was hang the deer. I did the rest. I do wish one thing. That there was a hobby every year on every weekend for 2 months that us women could go do something all day. HAHA!! Wishful thinking. Good Job Jus!!

Here is the first official Briggs Girl in the family. Brionni Ann Briggs enter this earth on October 5th at 1:20 weighing a whopping 6 lbs. 11 oz. & 18 in. long. We are so proud she is here with us safe & sound. Lindsey did great. Sorry Tory I give all the credit to her. HAHA! She is a DOLL though. We are so excited that Justin's brothers are finally having kids. Congrats Tory & Lindsey! Can't wait until her playmate Mr. Briggs get here.

Do Dogs go to Heaven?

Well so tonight was a sad night at the Mickelsen home. We had to put our family dog Mitzi who has been with our family for almost 16 years to sleep today. We will sure miss her. I know it sounds so stupid how you could cry so hard over an animal dying but I was a boob & I will admit it. She has been in our family forever. It was best to do what we decided cause she was dying of kidney failure and was so skinny. We sure loved her. I'm glad she was with our family this long. We love you Mitzi! I do believe that we will see her again.

After Surgery!!

So the surgery went fine. I can now admit I hate being put out. I do not remember a thing after surgery last Tuesday. They took my gallbladder & appendix out while they were in there since I found out that everyone in my family has had there appendix out except me & my little brother. So today was really the first day I have started to feel better. I hate pain medication I have no idea how people get addicted. I hate the stupid tube they put down your throat too. My throat hurt for days. I was going to post a picture of my stomach but we took the bandages off and I must have had an allergic reaction to them because when I pulled them off my skin came with it. I was instructed not to put anything on it so it is just one big scab now. GROSS!! I know and it hurts like H!!! Thanks for all the comments and I feel so much better.

So we decided for the boys for Halloween we would have them be little Motorbike Riders. They were so excited to be like there dad and have gloves, pants, & a jersey like there Dad. Justin was the one with the great idea. These they will get to wear them more then just for Halloween though. They have been wearing them every second they get. I love my boys and proud that they want to be like there DAD!! I love them.

Surgery

I'm not so excited. I have to get my gallbladder taken out next week. It is the little green thing on the picture. I've been so sick & nauseous so I finally had a Hydascan (sp) taken on Tuesday & found out it was no good. So I go to the surgeon on Monday & will probably be taking it out on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm trying to convince them to take my appendix out while there in there. I've never been under before so I don't know what to expect. Hope all goes well.

So here is Justin's new pride & joy. It's not brand new but in awesome shape & we got it for a good deal. He is so proud of it. We picked it up Tuesday and he went riding on Wednesday. He couldn't wait. It was like a little kid getting an awesome Christmas present. He is so proud. Hopefully he remembers when you play you pay. So he will be extra careful & not hurt himself or the bike.

Labor Day Camping!!

We had a fun Labor Day. The weather was good until up to the last day. You would've thought it would've snowed. We went camping to the property with the whole Killian family. It is always so fun to be with all of them. The kids had a blast of course until Saturday night when we woke up to Brendan throwing up. It was because of eating all the chocolate candy that night and chewing on some rotten wood with mold on it during the day. My dad doesn't call him Beaver Teeth for nothing I guess. That kid eats anything and chews on anything. We had Prime Rib on Sunday night and a lot of the cousins came up with there kids. It was so fun to chit chat with everyone. I love the Killian side. You could talk all night if possible with them. They have a story for everything. It was one of our last camping trips. It is sad to think about it cause it seems like we didn't go enough but have made a lot of memories which is more important. Until next time...

Well I thought I would break the news & tell everyone that Justin & I get our 2nd honeymoon almost 8 years late. We are going on a CRUISE!! Let me tell you I'm so excited that the first few nights I couldn't sleep. We are excited and Tory & Lindsey & the new baby decided they would stay at our house while we were gone. It will be so nice. We are going from Nov. 15th to the 22nd. It's 7 days. To the Mexican Riveria. I thinks that how you spell it. Thanks to Rhonda Merrill who reserved everything for us. Needless to say my parents & Diana & Heath are coming too. We should have a lot of fun. MOM plan on getting WET!! Hehe! Well its a long wait ahead but we are so excited.

So we finally had my Mickelsen Family pictures done on my parents birthday the 18th. It is about time. We haven't had family pictures since before Lorin went on his mission. So that excluded Cassie, Paisley, Katelyn, Ellie, Kayla, Nea, Nash, Bradley, Mason, & Brendan. So we were only missing a few. We should be seeing them this Wednesday. I'm excited to see them cause we got them done @ the Rexburg Gardens in CASUAL clothes. I talked Mom out of not having to wear Sunday Dress. So when I get them I'll post some. Today we went whitewater rafting in Jackson. What a BLAST!! We had so much fun. We missed the rest of the family that couldn't come. We will be doing one again next year so get ready. The water was so cold. Justin & Lorin were the only brave ones to jump in when they could and get wet. The boat didn't flip cause the water was way to high but I liked it better that way. It was so much fun. When I get photos back from the places that took them I'll post some. They are hilarious to read every ones expressions.

Today my Dad, Jace, Justin, and I went golfing. We were on hole 8 and I was 135 ft. from the hole and I chipped it and it went in. Holy Crap!! It was total luck. I thought for sure I was way over went I chipped it up there. I think maybe I should go PRO!! I know get real Becca and definitely nice try. It was just LUCK!!

What a relief for Becca. They are finally here. Ryan Ruger(A) and Hunter Paul(B). Ruger weighed 6lbs. 7oz. & 19in & Hunter weighed 7lbs. 3oz.& 19.5 in. Becca looked great. They are so cute. Hunter obviously got a lot of the food. They have there Mom's nose and Dad's mouth. They look like big sister Emily when she was born. They are both healthy and in with Mom & Dad. Congrats Ryan & Becca. What cute boys you have. What a blessing and such a miracle they are here. But man do you have your hands full for the next couple of years.=) Congrats and you know who to call when you need help with them or Emily. Love ya!!

Justin's Birthday was the day after Father's day. I hope he had 2 wonderful days to enjoy. For Father's day I bought him a 10 punch golf pass and for his Birthday I got him a Chain Saw and a game for his PS3. So we had a surprise Birthday Party for Deanne on Saturday. It was a big surprise for her. I think she enjoyed it. Bear World

It was finally a nice day in Idaho on Friday so we (Grandpa Mickelsen & I) loaded the kids up and went to Bear World. The kids loved it and especially loved hanging out with there Grandpa. Of course Grandpa spoiled them rotten. We went through the park, petting zoo, rides, and ate & shopped. Thanks Grandpa (Dad) for a fun time that day. Then the Bradley & Mason got to spend the night with Grandma & Grandpa that night with no parents. When they came home Saturday the boys cried they wanted to stay. How cute is that? I wouldn't have minded at all. Thanks Mom & Dad!! We love you! I'll post some pictures when I can steal them from my dad!

Today was my Birthday but I missed sharing with one of my Best Friends/Best Brother of mine. He lives in Utah. I know that it seems weird to post about my own birthday but his is tomorrow. Lorin & I always got to share Birthdays growing up. I missed when he went on his mission and now he is in Utah. So this is also a wish for him to Have a Happy Birthday. Justin spoiled me this year and bought me a set of golf clubs. I know that is funny and I'm really not that good, but anything to have fun with Justin will always make me happy. We went golfing yesterday with my parents and I had so much fun. The real reason he got them for me is that I always love to hang out with when he has fun and he knows that I always get mad when I can't go along so he bought me them for me so I could go along. Ready Briggs/Mickelsen Boys here I come. I told them I will only go if they don't play serious and competetive cause I'm not. I really do suck. Justin had his rotater cuff worked on today. He has been a real trooper. I'm keeping him pretty drugged up though =). He has been sleeping a lot. That's okay because he will probably not get any sleep tonight. Everything went well. It was partially torn and had a born spur on the cuff so they took that off. He will start physical therapy on Monday. I feel so bad for him. I'll keep you posted on his recovery. I'm afraid it will be a long weekend.

Home Sweet Cabin

Well another weekend at my cousins cabin in Island Park with my family. What could be better? We had a blast playing in the snow, hot tubing, sleeping, and playing Lorin's games. That kid has so many games to play. He is so SMART. We had to get out one more time before Justin has surgery on March 6th. We had so much fun with Mom, Dad, Lorin, Cassie, Dora, Vance, and of course the kids. The kids had so much fun playing with each other we really didn't need to keep our eyes on them. I ate so much junk on Friday that I ended up getting sick on Sat. but it didn't stop me. We stayed up talking on Friday night until 4:30 in the morning. Thanks Lorin, Cassie, Dora, & Vance. We love spending time with the family. It couldn't have been a better weekend. We missed the rest of you. I'm sure you are all sick of my slide shows but that is the only way you can see all my pictures. Hope you have a minute to watch.

Surgery =(

I'm so sick of Doctors offices lately. Between kids sick and Justin we have spent a lot of time there. So last week Justin's shoulder started hurting a lot to the point he could barely move it. So we got him an appointment on Wednesday and we spent the next 2 days after that getting MRI's, other x-rays and then the results. So come to find out Justin has a bone spur on his rotar cuff and a partial torn ligament. So the Dr. gave us the choice to either see if it will heal on its own or have surgery. It has been buggin him off and on since last summer so the Dr. said for it to heal on its own is very unlikely. So he gave us the weekend to see how it was doing and to think about it. So the result is to get it done. So I'll be calling on Tuesday to set up the appointment. Justin will at least be out of work for a week and maybe longer depending on how he heals up. He will have to take it easy for at least 6 weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do without his help. I've been pretty bummed about it because he is such wonderful help. Brendan has 2 ear infections also. So........ What's next!!!

Snow, Snow, & More Snow!!

This weekend Justin & I went snowmachining with his family. It was a lot of fun besides to much snow & fog. There was way to much powder that I kept getting stuck so the rest of the time I stuck to the trail. Of course the boys loved the powder. Besides the fact that Paul hit a tree!! The fog was annoying. It kept making our goggles freeze so we had to keep wiping them off every 5 seconds it sucked. But besides that it was a great day. The people that came were Paul, Deanne, John, Julene, Jace, Whitney, John's brother & sister-in-law, Rod, & Steve from Justin's work. It was fun. We finished the night off at Big Jud's which I call Big Hud's need I say more. My sister-in-law's brother Rod ate the Big Jud I was amazed. I wanted to puke for him. I couldn't even image eating that much hamburger. Can you say HEART ATTACK waiting to happen? Way to Go Rod! I was so tired and sore and have a cold on top of that, I was in bed by 9:00. Thanks to a wonderful husband who was also tired stayed up with the kids so I could go to bed. I love the snow but I'm ready for some SUN.

My Best Friend

Today Justin and I celebrate our 7 year anniversary. WOW!! I can't believe it has been that long already. We had such a great weekend just the two of us together without no kids. You forget how fun it can be with just the 2 of you without the kids screaming at you. We enjoyed a night at the Destinations Inn in Idaho Falls and a wonderful massage the next day. It was just so relaxing. I know it was not far from home but it was a night away. Thats all we needed even though we talked a lot about the kids and they weren't even with us. Thanks Paul & Deanne for taking the boys for us, we needed it. Justin is so good to me and has so much patience with me and the kids. Struggling with depression/mood swings/anxiety (whatever you want to call it) sometimes I just need out or away from things(kids)and he is always willing to let me go. I love him and he is definitely my BEST FRIEND. What a great day at church when my good friend gave the lesson about temples. I'm so glad to be married to Justin and have my family for eternity. I love him so much. Thanks Justin for the 7 years we have shared and many more to come. You are my True Best Friend. Here are a few pictures of our wedding and when we were dating. Everyone Sick! =(

Well it has been awhile since I've posted anything. We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season like we did. I didn't take any pictures they are all on the camcorder from Christmas so I'm sure you don't want to watch the 30 min. video of us opening presents. Anyways so we have welcomed the New Year already with the Flu and now colds. Oh how I love medicine!! Bradley was just diagnosed with influenza the cold type. He sounds horrible and now Mason is getting the same thing. Thank heavens Brendan is already on antibiotics so hopefully he won't get it. It has been a boring weekend hanging out at home and nobody to come and visit us so they won't get it. It is so hard to understand what they want when they are so sick and helpless. Justin, Bradley, & I just got over the flu this week too. I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband who holds the Priesthood so that he can give blessings. Justin and our neighbor Adam came over and gave him a blessing. It is such a wonderful thing. At least I got to feel the spirit since I wasn't able to go to church today. Hopefully this ends soon. Until then.....

We went down to Utah this weekend to see family and the lights. Well needless to say we didn't go see the lights we were with family all the time. We also knew we would have 2 boys throw a fit because they wouldn't leave their cousins. We had a little Party on Saturday night. We played some games and broke the pinata. It was a lot of fun. Needless to say I should've stayed home to finish Christmas but it was more fun in Utah with family.

Well I hope everyone had a wondeful Thanksgiving. I sure did with all the food. Even though I probably gained 10 pounds it was sure good. We shared it with both sides of the family like always. But we enjoyed it. My whole family was up and we had fun getting together. The girls did the early morning shopping Friday morning and got some good deals. We went to a Jesse's Basketball game. It was a good game but the refs sucked. Well I can't believe this month is already over. Brendan is almost a year old. They grow up way to fast. Today is Bradley's Birthday. We had a little celebration yesterday becasue today is the first day of the Briggs Boys Hunt. Hopefully they shoot something. I think Bradley was happy with what he got and had a good day. He is 5. I can't believe it, it was just yesterday when I had him. Grandma & Grandpa Mickelsen, Graig, Tory & Lindsey, and Jace & Whitney came over. We enjoyed some Pizza and then some of Bradley's Transformer DQ cake. He got a lot of Transformers stuff, clothes, & cars. He loved it all. He has spent most of the day with Grandma & Grandpa Dial today because they were at a funeral yesterday in Utah. They took him to breakfast and now he is over helping them with things at there house. I'm sure he is enjoying his time with them. Happy Birthday Bradley!!

It was an exciting Halloween for us. We went to Idaho Falls to the Trick or Treat Street that the radio stations put on. It was a long line but worth it. The kids got a lot of candy. This month has gone by way to fast. I can't believe it almost November. Well I had the opportunity to go hunting with Justin at the beginning of the month. It was so much fun. We saw a couple of deer but Justin missed. Thanks to a good friend who watched my kids the night before so I could go with him. We also went to Utah to see family and watch my nephew play football. That was fun. We have had alot of family get togethers with Justin's family because of so many birthdays this month.

The Briggs/Dial Family

My sister-in-law and I took our annual shopping spree to Park City for the weekend to get some Christams shopping done. That was a nice break and fun to spend some time with Becca. She is so much fun. We had a blast. While I was gone I came home to a surprise. An early Christmas present. Justin bought a 56 inch T.V. for our early Christmas present he couldn't wait, of course to be able to watch FOOTBALL on it.

Bradley will be turning 5 on Saturday. I can't believe it. I'm getting so old and he is growing up way to fast. The kids are so excited for Halloween so I'll be posting a few pictures in a couple of days for the exciting day of playing dress up. I keep teasing the boys that they are going to be Princesses for Halloween just to see there reaction. They love me for that one. Well I guess what haven't I done this month? It has been a busy one.

Justin and I went in for our eye exams today. Obviously this is the result. How sad! The funny part is that Justin has 20/50 vision and the Dr. told him if he was to get his licensed renewed he probably wouldn't pass without his glasses. HAHA!! Mine wasn't that bad, but thanks to kids, they've gotten worse so I had to get them also. 20/25 was my result.

The Dr. laughed at both of us because we are totally opposite in eye vision. How do we look? We are officially NERDS!!

Cabin

We went up to my cousins cabin this weekend. It was a blast. The kids had a ball with Grandma, Grandpa Mickelsen, Cassie, and Lorin. They went fishing many times and definitely kept Grandpa busy. It was a fun weekend to just relax and unfortunately watch FOOTBALL. I'm so sick of football already and it is just beginning. Mom kept me busy by helping her make homemade bread and her famous Clam Chowder. So that made up for not watching football. The cabin was beautiful and enormous. It was like another home. We stayed up and played games until 2:00 in the morning. My mom even stayed up and played. Here are a few pictures up there.

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake during Labor Day with Jace and Whitney. We had a blast. The kids loved the sand and water. I enjoyed it myself. It was Becca's first time there. I was not worried about the kids because you can go out so far before it is over your head. We loved it.

We are a busy family. Bradley and Mason just started pre-school. Brendan is crawling all over the place and it is going to be any day that he starts walking. He pulls himself up to the furniture and walks along it. He is almost 9 months old. I can't believe it. Bradley is definitely "Denise the Menace." Mason had surgery this summer on his tonsils, adenoids, and tubes put in his ears. There is definitely a big change.
